Olaf Breuning | Vin Idiot (2012)
On the occasion of the exhibition NGV Triennial 2017 the National Gallery of Victoria presents a limited edition inkjet print, Vin Idiot by contemporary artist, Olaf Breuning.
Olaf Breuning’s playful images offer a bemused critique of the absurdities, anxieties and excesses of contemporary life. The artist uses collage and familiar phrases to navigate between ‘high’ and ‘low’ artistic practices, with a subversive and occasionally sarcastic wit.
