In the final issue of NGV Magazine for 2026, we feature leading Melbourne-based South Sudanese artist Atong Atem, as part of her major solo exhibition at The Ian Potter Centre: NGV Australia, Passage: The Art of Atong Atem. We also share a preview of the fourth NGV Triennial exhibition at NGV International and celebrate recent diverse acquisitions including French artist Paul Jacoulet’s woodblocks created in the 1940s, Australian tonalist painter Clarice Beckett’s Evening, Church Street Bridge, c. 1930, and Salvador Dalí’s Venus de Milo with drawers c. 1936.
