Revol Bowl
Description
The 11cm ceramic individual bowl has all the hallmarks of the aesthetic appeal and skills on offer in the Revol collections. Thanks to the influence of its creator, Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance, this plate features a minimalist design and a contemporary style, with attractive decoration provided by a fine black edging around the rim. The uneven shape wonderfully expresses the fragile equilibrium between the living ceramic material and the high standards of a manufacturing process that has been producing fine tableware for generations.
The pride and joy of the Drôme region, Revol Porcelain was born of an indissoluble alliance between the soil of its region and a family of entrepreneurs dating back nine generations. It is in the earth of this region, rich in kaolin – the clay that forms the base material for ceramics – that the porcelain factory found its raison d’être in 1768. Meanwhile, its longevity has been assured by the visionary energy of its various directors down those nine generations.
