NGV design store present the handmade ceramic collection Knitting Knots of Love and Lotus Root collection by FLOWplus Living. Designed by Yokky Wong and based in Hong Kong, Yokky founded her potter workshop in 1995 and has held held solo exhibitions and group shows in Hong Kong and overseas. Her works are collected by museums in Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, France, Taiwan.

This large plate is from the collection Lotus Root. This cup is from the collection Lotus Root. Wong’s inspiration for the collection is taken from the humble lotus root, which helps give nutrients to the blossom flowers and leaves. Wong subtly carves the lotus root on the bottom of the bowl and cups in this collection as a tribute to nature.
